if you could be really super specific with naming the kinds of roses, and the other little flower stuff in between, and stuff like that that would be awesome...

Open Question: would this be too strong?
I like her. A lot. I'm not sure if she's aware of it, although I don't believe she is. Anyways, her B-day is in a few weeks. I'm thinking of getting her a modest bouquet of her favorite flowers (purple tulips) and maybe a stuffed animal. Would this be too strong?

Open Question: Is this a good start to my story?
It is not going to be a very long story, maybe 50 pages at most. If you have any suggestions I would really appreciate it. Thanks. ^_^
When I was very young we, my father, mother, brother, and I,lived in a rural village. We had a happy life together. My dad was a loud energetic guy with a ready smile. He would always tell us funny stories, which made everyone in the village laugh. He was well loved and respected. My mom was a calm, gentle woman. As the village healer, she could fix up any problem with her sure delicate hands. I remember all the villagers coming to her with their problems. she was always so kind and patient with them. My brother, who happened to be my twin, was the most mischievous little boy ever to live. I was often the object of his mischief, but his friends and the occasional adult were not left out. He would be punished when he tricked an adult but it didn't stop him from going right back to his old ways.
I loved the woods behind our house. The way the giant oak trees twisted together to form a jungle gym of branches, the way the sun beamed through just so on the only patch of purple violets, and most of all, the way my mother would take my tiny hand and walk with me, pointing out what all the different plants did. She would hold up a green plant with star shaped leaves and little white flowers. "This one is good for brewing into a tea. It helps to relieve a bad cough." She would tell me. I loved to see her beautiful face light up and the abundant knowledge pour from her lips. I took in every word like a sponge soaks up water.
The village had a school, but I had already learned to read. My father had taught me by reading history books every night before bed. The stories of time past fascinated me. I learned geography and mathematics as well. When the time came for me to go to school, I was tested. as were all the other children, and the teachers found that they could really add nothing to my education, so I was allowed to roam free while the others were made to sit for long boring hours. I had my freedom to roam in the beautiful woods as much as I liked. I stayed out for hours everyday. My parents sometimes worried that I did not get enough interaction with children my own age, but I assured them I was fine.
When I was about eight, my entire life changed. I was picking the little violets out in the woods. I couldn't wait to bring my lovely little bouquet back to my mom. I was later than usual on getting home. It was almost dark. I wondered why neither my mom or dad had come looking for me, but the thought soon passed from my young brain. I made my way home but as I got an eerie feeling came over me. Everything was so quiet...too quiet. I could see smoke pouring into the sky and over the big fence that surrounded my village...

Open Question: What should I do for me & my boyfriend's 2yr anniversary?
We're both young, 19yrs old. High school sweethearts. And as of Sep 12, 2010, we will have been together for 2yrs. Last year, he did all the arrangements for our anniversary. And it was WONDERFUL! So I promised that I'd make all the arrangements for our 2yr anniversary. And although its just a few days away I have NO idea what to do. I have about $200-300 to spend and I live in NYC. Any ideas?
To compare, this is what he did for me for our 1yr anniversary:
Months before, I told him all my favorite flowers. Little did I know that he wrote it down & on our anniversary he gave me a beautiful bouquet with all my favorite flowers. Ive always been a Yankees fan, but never went to a game so he took me to my 1st Yankee game! then he took me on a boat ride in central park and he made me a delicious dinner (which he NEVER did before). Kinda awesome, huh?
He hasnt told me ANYTHING! I've been asking him nonstop since last yr & he still hasnt given me any ideas. He hasnt even hinted at things he wants to do at some point in his life or where he may have always wanted to go... Im clueless!

I really want these centrpieces, it is 3 long stemmed orchids in a large round fish bowl with a few inches of water in the bottom. Simple and elegant, however, I dont want orchid bouquets, any suggestions for bouquets or other flowers to put in the centrepieces?
